July Course Success

Attending a promotion course is always nerve racking, whether you've attending three or none. A week of back to back lessons followed by critiques and assessment, however, there's nothing more progressive and admirable that a cadet can do. Self improvement in the name of service to their peers. It acts as the reinforcement of responsibility, the embedding of empathy and the advancement of abilities.

All candidates from 226 ACU passed exceeding expectations, introducing 4 new qualified junior leaders and 5 new senior leaders. The promotions are vital to fill roles to better accommodate our ever expanding unit.

Notable mention to CDT Mariko Tonu-Jiare who by his peers, course assessors and cadet staff was agreed to be the most outstanding cadet on the JNR leaders module, receiving Student of Merit and a bronze commendation for his efforts.
